Biography:

Dr. Curt Connors is a brilliant scientist who transforms into the monstrous Lizard. Driven by the desire to restore his lost right arm, Connors experimented with reptile DNA, hoping to unlock its regenerative secrets.

Tragically, the experiment backfired, turning him into a cold-blooded, reptilian creature with enhanced strength, speed, and a primal instinct. The Lizard is a recurring foe of Spider-Man, often battling the hero for control of his own mind and to prevent further mutations of others.

The character first appeared in comic books, specifically in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #6 in November of 1963.
